I have 3 sons and 1 daughter. My eldest son is a cost accountant for Leopold Stevens in Beaverton and he has two boys. My next son is a Plumber in Portland and also has 2 boys. My youngest son is a firefighter-paramedic for Spring Field fire and rescue. He is married, no children. My daughter will graduate June 12th from the nursing program at Portland Community College, she has one boy.
I feel very blessed to have such a beautiful family, as I was a single mother for several years. |
| Do You have any Pets and what type? Stories about your Pets? |

Two cats that were left here by my daughter went she moved out. Sassie is 17yrs old, and has cat-timers. Forgets she has already eaten, and gets psychotic when left alone. Turbo, is moody and only comes when she feels like it.

I remember slumber parties and going to games with girlfriends, Jane Beyer, Bev and Chris Bielenburg, Marlene Meissner, Darlene Hall to name a few.

| What did you want to do or think you were going to do when you finished high school? |
|
I wanted to go into a career that helped people, thought of the peace corp as an option. Also thought of being a nun, but that thought only lasted very briefly. Really wanted to eventually have a family and live like the Reeds on the Donna Reed show.

| What did you do right after leaving Kennedy HS? |
|
I started nursing school the fall after graduation.
|
| What was your first Job out of HS and what other positions did you hold up to your current position? |
|
I worked in the fields and cannery the summer after graduating. Went into nursing school that fall, and was motivated since I didnt make much as a field worker.

| Cool things you've done? |
|
Tom and I spent a month Oct '08, traveling thru Netherlands, Germany, Italy, mostly by train. Have gone on 3 cruises, to Mexico and the Bahamas. After my daughter graduated from high school, we went to Hawaii.

| What do you like to do in your spare time? |
|
I ballroom dance, taking lessons in West Coast Swing this month. Also recently started cross country skiing. During the summer I hike, camp. We have a year round site on the little north Fork.
With 5 grandsons I keep busy going to games and etc.
